Yoga, tension and a wedding in three weeks

A nervous new client turns up at a yoga session and does not hide that he is out of his depth. Instructor Mia Malkova sees it at once. Tension like his, she says, calls for attention just between them.

Private Lessons builds on that line. When he mentions a wedding coming up, Mia says she loves a committed man and offers to book him in for sessions that cover flexibility, stamina and the whole package. The synopsis hints that flexibility is not the only quality under test.

The hook is the gap between his reason for coming and her plan. He wants to get in shape for the big day, and she wants him to learn to loosen up before it. By the second episode the wedding is three weeks away, a massage has been suggested, and every polite excuse he makes only takes him deeper into the studio.
