Lodge 69 Was Double Booked: a closed road and a hot tub
Lodge 69 Was Double Booked opens with the holiday mishap everyone fears. Both couples turn up at the same mountain cabin with confirmed reservations, and no spare room exists anywhere nearby. A closed road rules out leaving, so the four agree to share, and someone remarks that four adults plus a hot tub is hardly a problem.
That remark is the joke the drama hangs on. The synopsis speaks of a quiet getaway that becomes an unexpected shared vacation, and early episodes assemble the friction from trivia: a missing charger, an outfit met with a half-listening compliment, ski goggles that go astray at a bad moment.
The series belongs to the wives-and-couples corner of Candy Shorts, where the appeal is the near miss inside a house too small for everyone’s secrets. All the guests are grown adults.
Episode by episode
- Both couples learn they hold bookings for the same cabin, and a call confirms there is nowhere else to stay and the road is shut. One man insists four adults can manage two bedrooms and a hot tub. Later a woman wants an opinion on her outfit while her partner searches for his goggles, and the episode closes on a loaded reminder that he will be out skiing all of tomorrow.
- One woman tells a houseguest that her husband is about to haul him onto the slopes, and that she has better entertainment in mind. As the group settles the day’s plan, Brad makes for the first chair while the rest cite tiredness or feeling off. With the cabin emptied, someone suggests the hot tub, a count reaches seven free hours, and the episode wraps up with a suggestion to stop talking and enjoy themselves.
From episode 3 on, every episode costs tokens.
Who is who in the cabin
The cast credits Antonella and Sadie, fictional characters rather than real performers, and no actual woman’s licensed likeness appears in this series.
The four guests make up two couples whose moods differ sharply. The men go uncredited, though the dialogue names one of them Brad, the husband who spends the day on the slopes until four. With only two names in the cast, we leave the remaining roles unnamed.
Starring: Antonella, Sadie.
