The bachelor party the fiancée vetoed

Nobody gets an official bachelor party in My Bachelor Gift Was My Fiancée’s Mom. This Candy Shorts drama opens with a groom-to-be asking his fiancée for one good reason, and she answers with a single word: strippers. She does not want anyone else touching her future husband, and the couple trades sweet lines that sound destined for the wedding montage.

Her mother, Margot, sees things differently. Once her daughter has left for the day, Margot sympathizes: no fun at all before the wedding? She asks him to meet her at the pool, because she has planned something just for him, and the first episode stops on a single word: surprise.

In the synopsis this is a secret party that must stay secret forever. The tension runs on a clock, because the daughter could come home at any minute. Everybody involved is an adult.

Episode by episode

  1. A fiancée refuses a bachelor party because she does not want strippers touching her future husband, and her mother interrupts the sweet moment to say she would have said yes. When the daughter heads out for the day, Margot sympathizes with the groom over a wedding without any fun and invites him to the pool. She says she has planned a little something just for him, and the episode stops on her announcing a surprise.
  2. Margot explains that since her daughter will not allow a bachelor party, this is her wedding gift: a secret, private one. She introduces her friends Gemma and Lexi, and when he frets that his fiancée could return at any moment, she says that is what makes it fun. The afternoon turns intimate, and the episode ends on a teasing promise that the best part is still coming.

From episode 3 on, every episode costs tokens.

Margot Vey and the people around the pool

Margot Vey is an invented character, one of the AI creations that return across Candy Shorts, and she does not correspond to a real woman. She plays the wild, playful mother of the bride, who sits at the center of the plot and sets its secret game in motion.

The groom and his fiancée are the other two corners of the story, and Margot’s friends Gemma and Lexi arrive in the second episode. None of them is a digital twin. The tie between Margot and the groom is that of a future mother-in-law and son-in-law, and all of them are grown adults.

Starring: Margot Vey.
