Lena The Plug Stole My Boyfriend

A best friend, a beach house and a boyfriend

The title gives away the direction. Delilah’s best friend Lena has been away for two years, working constantly. When she catches an earlier flight, Delilah wakes her boyfriend Ryan to get ready, because Lena lands in an hour and is dying to meet him.

Lena is charming from her first line. She tells Delilah she was never warned the boyfriend looked like this, calls Ryan the strong one Delilah found, and agrees, knowingly, that he has been very good lately. Delilah, delighted to have her friend back, misses the subtext.

The synopsis says Lena arrives craving Delilah’s boyfriend, and that by the weekend Delilah has stopped being a spectator.

Lena The Plug, Delilah and Ryan

Lena is played by the AI twin of Lena The Plug, one of the performers who have licensed their likenesses. The footage is generated, and the performer was never on set. You can read about the practice on the Lena The Plug twin entry.

Delilah and Ryan are fictional characters, as is everything else in the story. Both are adults, and Delilah is a grown woman with a busy life who simply wants her two favorite people to get along.
