The Nun in Our Guest Room: seven days before her vows
The Nun in Our Guest Room is a five-episode fantasy drama on Candy Shorts, structured as a countdown. A week remains before a nun gives her life to God, and she resolves that before the door shuts she will take one thing for herself.
The setting is an ordinary family home that receives her as a guest and walks her upstairs. Sister Dark Angel is courteous and quiet. The grown son of the house keeps noticing her, she notices that, and the household fills with long glances and prayers carrying a double meaning.
Piety against temptation, with a deadline on Sunday, drives everything. The mother honors the visitor, so each shared silence carries a touch more risk.
Episode by episode
- Sister Dark Angel comes to stay in the guest room for a week, and the adult son of the house is thrown off at once. She says he is gentler than the men at her parish, and they pray side by side. Her prayer begs pardon ahead of time for what will happen that night.
- Next day he is shaken, because the nun is aware he watched. When his mother tells her to ask him for whatever she needs, she asks whether he heard her last night and will not accept his denial. She spells out what Sunday means: once she takes her vows, whatever she has not yet done turns into something she never will, and that, she says, is exactly what she prayed about.
From episode 3 on, every episode costs tokens.
A nun, a host family and a short cast list
The nun, known as Sister Dark Angel, is composed, direct and ahead of everyone in the house. Veronica is her host, and Veronica’s adult son is the person she keeps testing. All three are grown adults.
Candy’s cast list gives Darkangel666 and Veronica. No real performer’s licensed likeness is on screen, so these are invented characters. Darkangel666 is credited again in the Spicy series What They Don’t Know.
Starring: Darkangel666, Veronica.
